The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson and starring Edward Riddler Nigma, was published on March 4 as a present for followers of the superhero. As a result, the latest Batman movie’s Riddler tosses some of the most perplexing riddles and cyphers for the greatest detective in the DC world, Bruce Wayne, aka Batman, to solve. Not all of the puzzles, though, were directed towards Batman. For all Batman nerds, there is a real-world easter egg puzzle that suggests that the film may have a sequel. Continue reading to learn how to access the mystery and even answer it.

You are allowed to read this story even if you have previously seen the movie. However, if you haven’t seen the movie yet, we advise you to click away from this right now because it contains significant plot spoilers.

The Batman Easter Egg Riddle: Details

I’m confident that if you saw The Batman in a cinema when it came out, you were aware of the el rata alada reference, which Batman’s dependable butler Alfred deciphered from a cypher the Riddler left behind. Batman initially struggled to understand the puzzle, but thanks to Oswald Penguin Cobblepot, he eventually realised it was a hint for a URL.

Therefore, to hide a brand-new enigma for Batman fans everywhere, the creators constructed a real rata alada website. It reminds me of the real-world PiedPiper website from Silicon Valley, a made-up web series.

    What is rataalada.com?

Now, rataalada.com is a unique website that was created to reflect the subject of the movies’ Riddler. It provides you with a cypher that you can decode using the Riddler’s keys, which are specialised alphabets. You can go to rataalada.com by putting the address into the address bar of your computer or by clicking this link.

When you first access the website, you are welcomed by the Riddler’s distinctive green question-mark logo flickering on your screen. The website automatically generates various random codes and numbers related to Batman’s comic editions after a brief period of time (we will come back to this later).

A new screen (screenshot above) with a Click for Reward button and a loading indicator stuck at a particular percentage appears after the first procedure is finished. You notice a new image (attached below) open in another tab of your browser after clicking the provided button. You must solve the following riddle.

    How to Decode the Cipher?

Now, if you are a die-hard Batman fan, I’m sure you can’t wait to solve the puzzle and discover the secret meaning. But before you do anything, you must have the steps that the Riddler took to encrypt his communication.

Fortunately for us, Twitter user garbage central has provided an accurate translation of Riddler s keys to help decode the message. You can check out the image from the Twitterati below.

#thebatman #rataalada after the latest (and possibly last) update, i think we’re only missing one letter? which works if he’s operating on the standard of I/J having the same symbol, like in a lot of ciphers, but it’s also gonna bother me forever if we never get a J pic.twitter.com/80anoF12M7

Therefore, by employing this key, you can simply decode the message in the website’s above image. You can also read on to find out what the message is if you’re too lazy to listen.

What Does the Riddler s Easter Egg Message Say?

The message that is revealed after deciphering the cypher with the aforementioned keys strongly suggests that the newly released movie will have a sequel. You believe I’m finished, the message that has been decrypted reads from the Riddler’s point of view. You might not, however, be fully aware of the truth. Every conclusion heralds a fresh start. Something is on its way.

If this isn’t a clue for the upcoming Batman movie, I don’t know what is. In addition, near the conclusion of the film, we saw the Riddler dwelling in a cell at Arkham Asylum that is right next to the Joker’s prison cell! So, yes, we can anticipate Matt Reeves to create a The Batman sequel with the Riddler and Joker team serving as the villains.

Additionally, do you recall the arbitrary Batman codes and numbers that the rataalada website generated? Well, if you look closely, you’ll see that the numbers next to each code line correspond to individual Batman comic book issues that include characters like the Batman, Joker, Riddler, Catwoman, Penguin, and more.

What do you think of The Batman’s extensive real-world easter egg? By yourself, were you able to crack the cypher? Tell us in the comments section below.
