How Do Villagers Get their Jobs in Minecraft

Before we examine the typical villager jobs in Minecraft, it’s critical to understand how these positions are given. The utility block that is nearby determines how the people are employed. They are also referred to as job site blocks. If a villager has a composter nearby, for instance, they will instantly become farmers. But as you could anticipate, there are a lot of unemployed villagers due to the lack of utility blocks.

To make things simple, we have provided crafting instructions for each block of a job site along with a description of each Minecraft villager job.

In total, there are approximately 100 different types of villages. However, for the purposes of this book, we only need to concentrate on the 15 various worker categories.

Without focusing on farmers, you cannot discuss villagers or Minecraft villager employment. They are the most prevalent and well-liked villager varieties in the game. High-level food items and even a few ingredients for some of the best Minecraft potions are available from farmers. This means that at lesser levels, you can trade stew, bread, pies, apples, and cookies. Meanwhile, skilled farmers provide gleaming melon slices and bright carrots. They typically spawn close to a composter, which is excellent for making game-friendly bonemeal.

    Occupational Block: Barrel

    9. Librarian

Description of the Position: Provides grilled seafood, a bonfire, and even an enchanted fishing rod.

The game has only recently included fishermen. They provide prepared salmon, cooked cod, and a bucket of cod when it comes to fish. Also available from them are a campfire and an enchanted fishing rod. Even if you’re not a lover of fishing, a fisherman enables you to exchange fish for emeralds that you may use to trade with villagers who work at other jobs in Minecraft. They have a barrel-shaped utility block, which is excellent for storing things.

    10. Mason or Stone Mason

    Block at Workplace: Fetching Table

Job description: Trades crossbows, flint, bows, and arrows.

One of the less well-known villager jobs in Minecraft is fletcher. However, if you aim well, they could be your greatest strength. Low-level fletchers can sell you arrows, flint, bows, and crossbows. In the meanwhile, higher-level fletchers offer magical arrows, enchanted crossbows, and bows. Unfortunately, their job site block is just a fletching table and has no further purpose. We can only hope that in the future, Minecraft will allow us to use it.

The only thing you can obtain from them that is useful is a horse saddle, and even then, you can only get that from a master-level leatherworker. But their construction site block is a cauldron, and it’s very helpful. A cauldron can be used to hold snow, lava, or liquid.
