A new service has been launched by Flipkart’s cheap retail platform 2GUD to bring e-advantages commerce’s to conventional offline businesses. The new service, 2GUD Local, will enable offline businesses to reach a larger audience by showcasing their goods and services in long-format movies.
In addition to helping local shops with cataloguing, customer fulfilment, advertising, marketing, and other crucial areas, the Flipkart-owned platform will also give them access to new geographies for consumer acquisition in addition to offering them an extra channel for sales.
At 4 PM today, the first such digital event began on the 2GUD app. It highlighted the KLM Fashion Mall in Bengaluru, where buyers could get saris for as little as Rs. 399. As the business works to develop 2GUD Local into a service that will allow consumers to shop from their preferred local retailers from the comfort of their homes, more events of this nature will come in the days and weeks to come.
The head of 2GUD, Chanakya Gupta, announced the introduction of the new service, saying, “We have created 2GUD Local to enable local firms utilise traffic on our already-popular marketplace and take their services to a pan-India market.” When social distance is crucial, we look forward to working with more regional partner companies and providing for consumers across the nation.
Flipkart claims that 2GUD presently offers both new and reconditioned goods across more than 600 product categories. According to reports, the platform has more than a million users in more than 15,000 PIN codes across India.
