Get Facebook Chat Heads for Android Apps with DirectChat
1. On your Android smartphone, first go to the Play Store and download the DirectChat app (Free).
2. You must grant DirectChat permission to draw over other apps and access notification material before you can use the app. To grant the necessary permissions to begin right away, simply flip on the toggle on the permissions screen.
3. You can select the Test ChatHead option on the welcome screen to see a message appear on your screen. To access a full texting interface similar to Messenger, tap the chat head.
4. You can also access the Apps option from this page, where you may see a list of DirectChat-compatible apps and add new ones to the existing list. Using the toggle next to an app, you may choose whether to allow or hide chat heads for that particular app. By tapping the app’s name, you can change the chat heads’ theme, read status, and filters, among other things.

Appearance
The developer’s successful replication of Messenger’s primary interface and functionality in DirectChat is one of the main reasons you’ll choose it over other comparable apps on the Play Store. I was immediately drawn to the chat bubble, pop-up messages, unread badges, and the entire messaging UI here. I’ve been regularly using this app lately, and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences.
Features from the chat head: DirectChat provides you with a wealth of features from the chat head. You have two options when a new message comes in: you can tap on the pop-up message to respond immediately, or you can tap on chat heads to see the conversation view. With the latter, you may access several options like the ability to block or unblock a single user’s chat heads, set up Do Not Disturb to temporarily cease receiving notifications, and create a shortcut to activate the app.
Note:You can unblock a chat head if you’ve blocked it for a particular contact in DirectChat’s settings. The Blocked Persons option can be found at the bottom of the settings pane. From there, you can toggle the users you want to unblock so that you can see their chat heads once more.

Themes
You can alter the appearance of your chat heads and discussion view in DirectChat, but doing so has a cost. Before you can continue with the theme customization, you must first purchase the $1.98 Pro version of the software. To view an app’s settings, go to DirectChat’s Apps section and tap on the app’s name. The following things are modifiable here:
Profile: The software comes pre-installed with a colour scheme for various well-known chat programmes, like Discord or WhatsApp, but you are free to modify it. Another bonus is that you’ll have a choice to store your own custom themes as a profile.
Colors: The app profile is used to choose the colours by default, but you may alter the colour of practically everything, including the send button itself as well as the title bar, background, and incoming/outgoing texts.
You can select the message bubble’s shape in the discussion view using the conversation bubble style option. You can select rounded corners or speech bubbles that resemble those in Messenger or iMessage.
Mark as Read: Messages are not marked as seen inside the app when they are read through the chat head made available by this app. Therefore, you have the option to toggle the Mark as ReadPro feature, which does the job for you automatically, or utilise it to keep quiet and not let people know that you have read their messages. Preferences
DirectChat also allows you to customise a lot of your notification choices. If the chat head appears or is removed, you can decide whether the status bar alerts should be removed. The unread count can also be reset by the app.
Conversation Bubbles: To better understand the app for which a chat head has appeared, you can choose to view an app icon at the bottom of a chat head. The size, transparency, border colour, and conversation pane transparency can all be changed in DirectChat.
Lock Screen: The programme allows you to carry on conversations using chat heads directly from the lock screen, which can be quite convenient but can have privacy implications. I won’t advise you to enable chat heads on your lock screen.
Recent ChatHead: Since it keeps track of all recently closed conversation heads, this is one of my favourite DirectChat features. If you accidentally end a chat head—for instance, a WhatsApp chat—or want to continue a conversation, you can go to the Recent Chat Head to view the same.
When enabled, the functionality clears the conversation window when the chat head is dragged down to close it. A fresh window then emerges the next time a notice is received.
Apps to Avoid: It really is as easy as it seems. You can choose which apps you wish to prevent chat bubble notifications from appearing on your screen with this function.
