Google is attempting to improve its reputation by granting users greater control as the internet giant is receiving harsh criticism for its data collection practises. Users can now use the YouTube app’s Incognito mode to prevent Google from logging their YouTube watch and search history. Additionally, the user momentarily logs out of their Google account when using Incognito mode to prevent any strange activities from taking place in the background. Use YouTube in incognito mode by following these instructions if you want to keep your viewing activity private.
Enable Incognito Mode in the YouTube App
1. Launch the YouTube application, then tap on your profile in the top-right corner.
On this page, click Turn on Incognito.
2. It will notify you of the modifications.
You enter Incognito Mode after tapping on Got It. You no longer need to worry about data collecting when using YouTube.
Make YouTube Private with Incognito Mode
3. Keep in mind that until you sign back into your Google account, the YouTube app will remain in Incognito mode.
