Microsoft Founder Bill Gates Uses This Smartphone as His Daily Driver!

Bill Gates, a co-founder of Microsoft and one of the richest men in the world, has been clear in the past about his preference for Android over iOS. But until recently, he kept his smartphone’s brand a secret. Find out which smartphone Gates uses on a daily basis by reading the details below!

Bill Gates Uses a Samsung Smartphone!

Bill Gates has revealed the brand of the smartphone he uses every day during a recent Reddit Ask Me Anything (AMA) session, and it’s strangely not a Microsoft product! The Microsoft founder’s primary smartphone is a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3.

Gates also lauded the screen of the gadget as well as its portable PC-like features and style. See Gates’ response to a Reddit query in the screenshot that is included below.

The collaboration between Samsung and Microsoft for the integration of Samsung devices with Windows may also be to blame for the use of a Samsung foldable phone.

It is now unexpected to see Gates use a Samsung gadget rather than the Microsoft Surface Duo or even the Surface Duo 2 from a year ago, which had the Snapdragon 888 SoC. The Microsoft tablet has similar features to Samsung’s top-of-the-line foldable, including two internal displays, a foldable design with a well-regarded hinge, and more.

But on the other hand, compared to the dual-screen, foldable form factor of the Microsoft Surface Duo devices, the Samsung gadget is considerably more dependable in terms of fast software updates, a cover display similar to a smartphone, and a genuine foldable screen. However, if Microsoft had been successful in the field of mobile operating systems, we are confident that Gates would have used a smartphone with its own mobile OS.
