Tudum 2022 has here in all of its splendour! Today, Netflix conducted its second global fan event when it unveiled all the upcoming TV shows that would be available on the OTT platform. Fans are just as eager to start watching new shows like Wednesday and The Recruit as they are to continue watching some well-liked TV series like The Crown and Bridgerton, which are returning for another season. With that said, let’s look at every new TV show and each of the next seasons that were revealed at Netflix Tudum 2022.
Netflix Upcoming TV Shows List (2022)
All of the TV shows that will be available on Netflix in the upcoming weeks or months are listed here, along with a brief description and their trailers. Let’s begin.
Please take note that some of the TV show descriptions may include spoilers or character names.
Squid Game
We already know that Squid Game Season 2 is in the planning stages. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive any information about the second season of Squid Game because its creator and director, Hwang Dong-hyuk, is still working on the script. The Front Man (Hwang In-ho) is reportedly seen returning home to refill his fish tank while his presumably deceased brother Jun-ho (Wi Ha-Joon) is spying on his apartment from across the street in an unseen Season 1 clip that was sent to us.
Therefore, we may anticipate that the plot of Squid Game Season 2 will continue the plot of Season 1, assisting us in solving the mystery surrounding the games.
Witcher Season 3
In the summer of 2023, Netflix will release a new season of the much-loved fantasy series Geralt of Rivia. You’ll be able to meet Geralt (Henry Cavill), Yennefer (Anya Chalotra), Ciri (Freya Allan), and other incredible new characters next year after almost 1.5 years. During the Tudum 2022 event, Cavill made an appearance with his two co-stars Anya and Freya to showcase some Season 3 artwork and reveal the release schedule. We didn’t receive any trailers, so we can’t determine how the plot develops after this point. However, there will soon be more demon slaying.
Date of Release: Summer 2023
The Witcher Blood Origin
With The Witcher: Blood Origin, Netflix will educate us to the history of the Continent before we encounter Geralt once more. This TV show is a prequel that occurs about 1200 years before The Witcher’s events.
Michelle Yeoh, Laurence O Fuarain, and Sophia Brown, three warrior elves, will be seen working on the first Witcher. At some point, the plot will culminate in the Conjunction of the Spheres, a catastrophe that will impact the elf, human, and monster worlds.
