Ubisoft has officially revealed the name of its new mobile game following months of leaks and discussions on online forums. And based on what we currently know, it could very well be the next game to seriously challenge games like PUBG. Having said that, let’s go over everything that was stated in the formal release and see what to anticipate.
Division Mobile Game is Called The Division Resurgence
The Division Resurgence is the name of the future mobile game by Ubisoft, which was officially announced on its blog. The game will be available to iOS and Android users for free to play. Resurgence’s plot will adhere to a canonical story set in the same universe as The Division and The Division 2. You will take on the role of Strategic Homeland Division (SHD) agents sent to New York City to protect locals and reclaim the crumbling society from The Freemen insurgents.
The trailer for Resurgence, which is available at the link above, serves as the official announcement and provides our first glimpse of its deadly setting. The game appears to use area-based warfare, where you might have to take over a block at a time. It will be intriguing to see how the Division’s recognisable gameplay transfers to a mobile game setting.
The four agent classes that have been revealed so far by the devs are sufficient to accommodate the majority of gaming philosophies. However, following the release, we might see new agent classes. Both solo and co-op modes will be available in The Division Resurgence’s single story-based storyline. You’ll be able to gain unique load-outs as the game goes on, including additional tools, tools, abilities, and more.
The Division Resurgence Release Date
All current official sources indicate that The Division Resurgence will be available soon. But we cannot determine for certain whether or not 2022 counts as soon. Fortunately, though, you can sign up to be one of the game’s initial alpha testers on the official Ubisoft website if you don’t want to wait.
Are you anticipating The Division’s mobile version now that every aspect is known? Or do you like games like Valorant Mobile that are more competitive? Your opinion is welcome in the comments section below.
