Tinder Testing ‘Picks’ to Recommend Profiles Based on Your Interests

Tinder is presently testing Picks in order to make it simpler for you to locate the ideal soul mate (or that one-night stand). According on criteria like occupation, interests, hobbies, and other personal qualities, Tinder Picks will present you with a list of the most attractive people. It’s basically Tinder’s way of telling you to stop swiping left on them since we already did the hard work.

Based on the personal information supplied by users, such as their career, regions of interest, and other facts, Tinder will shortlist profiles for Picks suggestions. The daily Picks are selected by taking into account historical swiping behaviour as well.

We’re giving consumers a new way to find the most intriguing users on Tinder with Picks. Picks offers a tailored, premium user experience within Tinder Gold that highlights distinctive qualities that set our users apart, TechCrunch cited Brian Norgard, Chief Product Officer of Tinder, as saying this.

Only Tinder Gold members have access to Picks; hit the diamond toggle at the top of the discovery page to view the best matches. Daily updates of the Picks list will include a fresh batch of profiles.

Additionally, you can purchase additional recommendation lists (of course) to broaden your search if you are still unable to locate your ideal match in their daily Picks list. Different iterations of the feature are currently being tested in Sweden, Russia, the Netherlands, Canada, Mexico, France, Turkey, Germany, Brazil, and the UK. Picks is currently only available on iOS. Information regarding the feature’s exit from testing and global rollout is not yet available.
