To support the quarantine recommendations made by epidemiologists, doctors, and other specialists to help control the spread of the novel coronavirus, WhatsApp has released a new Together at Home sticker set. The Facebook-owned business claimed in a blog post on Tuesday that it worked on the new sticker pack with the World Health Organization (WHO).
WhatsApp claims that the stickers should transcend barriers related to language, age, and more because they are not only timely but also humorous, instructive, and universal.
We believe individuals will appreciate using these stickers to check in on family members, especially those who are fearful, lonely, and isolated. According to the company, this pack provides inventive ways to remind individuals to wash their hands, keep their distance, exercise, and, most importantly, to honour both the personal and professional heroes in each of our lives.
With localised text in nine languages in addition to English, including Arabic, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish, the Together at Home sticker collection is available worldwide. Since their inception in late 2018, stickers have quickly gained popularity on WhatsApp, with the business asserting that billions of them are sent daily on the service. In an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19, the firm is now hoping that the newest sticker pack would inspire individuals to keep up with social distance norms.
