The first OMEN by HP Challenger Series Event, which will feature amateur PUBG players competing in the battle royale tournament, has been announced for the Asia-Pacific area and Japan by HP in partnership with Intel and PUBG Corporation. The $50,000 prize fund and two registration categories, amateur and influencer invitation, are available for the OMEN by HP Challenger Series Tournament.
Enthusiastic players from 11 nations, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, China, Japan, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand, have already started registering for the competition. In order to qualify for the Grand Finals, which will take place in Bangkok between November 2 and November 4, only the top teams from each nation will be chosen.

Regarding the tournament’s rules, only squad-based matches with four players each will be played in FPP mode on the Erangel and Miramar Maps. Four players plus one stand-in will make up each squad, and more significantly, at least three of the players in each squad must be from the same team. Additionally, professional players are not permitted to compete in the event, so don’t expect to go up against players like Dr. Disrespect or Shroud.
Teams will receive basic points for their final placement in a battle royale and bonus points for their overall kill total. Up to 80 amateur teams from each nation will compete in the OMEN by HP Challenger Series Tournament’s qualifying rounds beginning on September 14 in an effort to qualify for the Grand Finals in Thailand. Additionally, teams composed of two influencers from each nation will be invited to compete in the Grand Finals, where 40 teams will compete for the championship trophy.
Here is where you can sign up for the OMEN by HP Challenger Series Tournament if you believe you have what it takes to be one of the top PUBG players in the Asia Pacific region.
